FOR THE LONGEST TIME

Canadian friends sent us this in appreciation for my photos of the local Cooper’s hawk.

I completed weaving the Olive warp—three distinctly different shawls, none of which read olive and one of which does not read green at all. Now my studio space is a wreck, but if I wrap gifts, bind the last two quilts (and find a place to put the stack of six, and get the most recent one to Linda, which won’t be until January), and invest quality time in sorting and tidying, all will be okay.

  1. I shall make it a goal to straighten up my studio this year!

  2. Remember: if your wife doesn’t find you handsome, she should at least find you quoting Red Green from time to time or the longest time. After all, he is the hockey player and you know what they say in hockey—let’s get the puck and trump out of here—stay safe and thanks for the giving.
