I think I might divide the novel into Denial, Regret, Afterward. I am not happy leaving work unfinished, and that novel is unfinished.

I have revised a flash fiction from working hard yesterday, a funny piece called “And Another Thing.” It’s been a long time since I wrote funny. It’s about a drunk man in a local bar who manages not to get into a fight, this time. I read it aloud to Gary and he liked it, asked me where it came from—I have no idea. I will still plan on accomplishing my original goal for the month: 4 polished pieces prepared for publication, with all that alteration entirely by accident. Now I will also try to rewrite the novel.
